I’m 41 y/o, female who was adopted from a hospital in Jackson, MS in 1977. My adopted parents took me home around 6-8 weeks old. I was told my birth given name was Joan. I was told that my birth mom was a college student studying art and that my background included music. I was adopted by June and Aubrey Mitchell who relocated me from Jackson to Tupelo, MS were I grew up and lived most of my life. I do not recall the name of the hospital or home from where I was adopted. My adopted mother told me that it closed down years ago. I was never told anything about my birth father. I would like to connect with both of my birth parents.
