Adoptive parents were Roy Lee Goff and Charles Goff in Picayune, MS. She was in foster care until she was 2 years old. Her foster home was in Magee, MS and her foster mother called her “missy.” I was told that her adoptive mother and someone met in a park to exchange her. Her father was a twin. They were in college when they had her. I’m thinking maybe they went to Jackson State University in Mississippi since it was still segregated back then in the 60’s.
