I am looking for the birth parents for my adopted cousin. I believe his mother’s last name may have been Gainey‚ from the Winona‚ Minnesota area. My cousins adoptive parents were Joseph and Alta Betlach and my cousins name after adoption was James Francis Betlach. James was killed while on furlough from the military in 1952. I have been trying for years to find his birth parents‚ was given permission by the court to access his birth record but no one seems to want to help me. If there are any further resources to help with this search please let me know. Thank you.......
