With Minnesota having recently opened Birth records‚ I now know that my Birth mother was Leora Lynn Peters. She is no longer living. In a photo I have seen of her‚ with her husband‚ I can see that we share very similar facial features. I have some maternal 1/2 siblings. As far as I know‚ she never told them‚ or her husband‚ of my existence. She was not ready to do that in 2005 when I had contact with her through Children’s Home Society. I have (or had) uncles and aunts. The one maternal uncle I had been in communication with and whom I shared DNA with on Ancestry‚ Nicholas Bauer‚ recently passed away. He lived in Florida. My Birth Father‚ Gary Ingram‚ passed in 2019. He lived in Idaho. I have many paternal 1/2 siblings in the Ingram family. They may‚ or may not know of my existence. Some do‚ and are not interested in contact. I have met one 1/2 brother‚ Stephen Ingram. I have been in contact with one 1/2 sister‚ Mollie Ingram. Both of them are DNA matches on Ancestry. Stephen’s daughter and grand daughter are DNA matches on 23&Me.
