My mother gave a son up for adoption through Lutheran Social Services in Minnesota. He was born in July of 1971, I am unsure the exact day but believe it was the end of the month. She named him Jamie (unsure of the spelling). He was in foster care part time for less than a year, as her grandmother to her to court to make her keep the baby (she turned 18 less than a month before the birth). My mother lived in NW Minneapolis at the time so I assume he was born at Hennepin county.
