My baby boy was born at the St. Cloud, MN hospital, in Stearns county, which is now part of CentraCare Health Care System, River Campus. I had some help from a social worker through Stearns county. I’m a strong believer that if I ever have contact with him, it should be his decision to do so. There are several reasons I’ve decided to do this & it’s extremely hard for me to do this, being I believe this should be his decision. I want him to know he was wanted. I want to know how he’s doing , if he’s married, does he have children, & is he healthy. I have many questions for him. I know he had a sister at the time of the adoption, who was also adopted. I know his birth father’s name & the social worker’s name, who was a friend of his adoptive parents, but I’m not sure I should put their names on this message. I have no intention of disrupting his life by doing this. I’m not sure if I want to meet in person, again because I don’t want to disrupt his life or his parents life. There are certain things I would like to pass on to him, like family medical history & blood relatives. Hopefully your upbringing was loving & that you weren’t always thinking you were unwanted because that is far from being true.
