Hello, I am looking for the birth family of my mother. Her birth day is August 4, 1955 (however it could be different as she was adopted through Catholic Charities). She came home with her adoptive parents around 1 week old (give or take), and the adoption was final within the first year (I believe). The stories I remember my grandmother telling me was that her birth name was Susan? Her adoptive name is Ann Holly Blair. She grew up in New Hope MN, and was born in MN. Her adoption ppwk and original birth certificate were lost in a storm. She has blonde hair and blue eyes. We do know that her decent is irish (adopted Irish catholic to irish catholic we believe). I am married now with children of my own. We would love to know the history of the blood line, and it would be wonderful for her to meet anyone from her birth family. Her parents (adoptive parents) are both deceased now, however her adoptive mom and her searched once a long time ago (without internet). My grandmother always hoped she would have had a chance to meet the birth mother (I have adopted as well, and my friend gave hers up for adoption at a very young age) to thank her for the beautiful blessing and selfless thing she did.
