I am a twin. I have a twin sister. We were born in St, Paul, Minnesota on June 14, 1970. We are bi-racial with our birth mom presumed to be white (German) and our birth father presumed to be Black (African). I recently complete my DNA registry on Ancestry.com. My results located my birth father with the initials B. G. I have sent a message that I know has been read, but have received no response. My guess is that perhaps my birth father had no idea that his girlfriend at the time was even pregnant. That is just a guess. Otherwise I don’t understand why he would not respond to me. Someone else completed his test for him, so I don’t even know if they told him I have reached out or not. My birth mother placed us up for adoption through Catholic Social Services (now Catholic Charities). Catholic Charities worked with Lutheran Social Services and ultimately that was the agency in which we were placed with our amazing adoptive family. If any of this rings a bell with anyone, I am so anxious to locate my birth mother. Thank you.
