I was born in Detroit,MI and immediately placed with Child and Family Services of Michigan until being adopted by a Midland, MI family in May, 1964. Not looking to cause problems would appreciate health and ancestry info. Since I have started the search I have found my birth mothers name it is Clare Joan Allman she was married to a Roy Ferguson at the time of her death in 1977. She attended Michigan State University and Marygrove college and attained a medical degree and medical doctor was listed as her occupation on her death certificate. She died in 1977 in East Lansing MI. She had a sister and I have know knowledge about her or if she is still alive. I am in the process of trying to get the name of my birth father but haven’t received it yet. My maternal grandparents were Paul and Anita Allman. He was supposed to have been a U of M law school graduate and a lawyer for the Detroit Edison Company.
