I was born to a woman that had two sons that were 5 and 10 in 1970. This woman was living with her elderly parents in Monroe County Michigan. She has one (1) sister who also had children. I was born in Monroe Mercy Hospital. My biological father is described by my birth mother as being of Puerto Rican decent. I was three (3) weeks old when I was given up for adoption but not before my birth mother named me Cheryl. Based in the information I was given from Catholic Charities of Monroe County‚ my father did not know about my birth.
