He was born in Kalamazoo, MI and the adoption was handled by Catholic Charities. I believe my mom was staying at what was then called the St. Agnes Foundling Home. My brother’s adoptive father worked for a railroad and was in the Navy stationed in the Pacific during WWII. The adoptive parents were married in 1946.
