Update: 10/30/2017 We have confirmation of my birth mother. Beverly Ann Helmold of Deckerville, Mi ,she passed away in 2011. November 2017-I have also had contact with my birth father (through DNA matches) Edwin Hall of Port Huron, MI. He has no "recollection" of my birth mother. I was born in Detroit Michigan at Crittention General Hospital on April 30, 1964. My name given at birth was John Robert first name John middle name Robert. I was adopted from Protestant Youth Services now it is Christian family services. I was in foster care until My parents got me when I was a month old. My mother was 16 and father was 20 and going into military. He was a farm hand. My mother’s father was killed in an auto accident shortly before I was born he was 38 yrs old and her mother was 36 yrs old and was in a mental hospital. My mother lived with her grandparents and her grandfather signed over the adoption papers. She had two sisters and had a younger brother who was 13. Her siblings were staying with an aunt. She had blonde hair and blue eyes. He had black hair and blue eyes and 6’3".
