I was born in Foote Memorial Hospital in Jackson, Michigan on September 26, 1961. My mother was about 19 years old and my father was about 37 years old. I don’t know if my father knew of my birth. My mother played the saxophone, was of Italian and, Syrian and Swiss descent. There was a tendency toward red hair and blondness on the Italian side. She had younger half-brother(s). She had dark hair and a dimple in her chin and was about 5’1” tall. My maternal grandmother may have sung opera. My father was of German and Spanish descent and had served and been wounded in the military, was very intelligent, and He may have been red-green color-blind and was around 5’11” tall. His mother had already passed away at the time of my birth of a possible heart attack. My paternal grandmother had possibly been a dancer and my paternal grandfather had possibly been a bartender. Jackson, Michigan was probably not her usual home. As a state adoption, Michigan Childrens Aid was involved. Foster care was involved for my first 5 weeks in Lansing, Michigan. Pontiac, Michigan May or May not be relevant.
