I am a 69 y/o professor in Virginia. I am searching for my birth daughter who was born out of wedlock in October 1970, between the 17th and 20th of that month. Her mother was Catherine *****, who surrendered the girl to adoption with Catholic Charities within days of her birth. Ms. ***** named the girl Elizabeth, and the adoptive parents promised to maintain that choice although i do no know if that happened. I was told that the parents Catholic and were professors at the University of Michigan. At this time, the birth mother has no additional information and does not seek contact or more information about Elizabeth. The Hospital was in Ann Arbor or Ypsilanti Michigan. I am very eager to establish contact with Elizabeth if she is inclined to accept communication. I continue to have positive communications with the birth mother.
