I'm helping a friend who is trying to learn more about her biological family. Her adoptive name is Sheila Thompson. She was born on October 22‚ 1968 at Mt. Carmel Hospital in Detroit and was adopted through Catholic Social Services of Detroit. She recently completed a DNA test in hopes of connecting with biological relatives. According to the non-identifying information she received‚ her biological mother was 23 years old‚ had just graduated from college with a degree in English education‚ and had planned to become an English teacher. She was 5'5" and had a younger brother & sister . Her sister was about 9 years younger than her. The biological father was also 23 years old and worked installing garage doors. He had an older brother and a younger sister. His sister was 13 years younger than him. He was around 6'4" tall and liked playing sports. Sheila is not looking to disrupt anyone's life or ask anything of her biological parents. She simply hopes to learn their names and better understand her family history.
