My father‚ James Stephen Parker was born 3/16/1944. He was adopted early on by Harold Briggs Parker and Janette L. Hattendorf in around 1944/45. My father‚ James Stephen Parker‚ Sr passed away when I was only two years old. His date of death was October 10‚ 1968. Then in the early 80’s the people who adopted my father (the people I knew as my grandparents) passed away. I know nothing about my Paternal side of the family and I am curious about my heritage and genetically inherited medical concerns. I have seen a 2nd cousin show up on 23andme as well as 3rd and 4th cousins which are not on my mother’s side of the family. l’m hoping to figure out something about my dad’s side of the family. TIA
