I am searching for my birth mother or birth family. I am a female born in Lansing, MI on May 01, 1970 at 11:14pm at Sparrow Hospital. I weighed 4 pounds, 11 ounces and was about 2 weeks premature. I was released from the hospital on May 19, 1970. My birth mother was 5’4", dark brown hair, brown eyes, and was 30 years old. She had a BA in Sociology, was a librarian and in the Peace Corps. She was working on a Masters. She had two brothers. One was 24 and in the Air Force and one was 20 and in college. My birth grandfather was 57 and an engineer, birth grandmother was 54. My birth father was 34, brown hair and brown eyes. He was a telephone repairman. My birth parents met when my birth father installed a telephone for my birth father. He did not know about me. I was adopted through Catholic Social Services. I know I was in foster care the first couple of months of my life due to an eye infection before being adopted.
