My name is Shelly Renee Martin Johnson. I was born at Detroit Sinai hospital on April 29th‚ 1975. I was in foster care through the Baptist children’s home. I met my adoptive parents in August 1975. David and Arwilda J. Martin loved and raised me from then on. I grew up in Livonia‚ MI and now live in Wilmington‚ NC. My parents are gone now. I do know that my case worker was named Uma. Apparently‚ my birth mother was residing in a hospital when I was conceived. She was assaulted. I just wanted to reach out to see if I’m known or thought of. I want to thank my birth mom’s family for giving me life. I have 2 children and have been married for 18 years. If I get my answers‚ it would be a blessing. If I don’t‚ I have still been blessed.
