My name is Evalina Pickett‚ and I am the biological aunt of Michael Edwin Jay Holden. He was put into foster care after being removed from my sister's care and then later adopted through Bethany Christian Services. I do not know who his adopted family members are‚ as they asked for it to be closed. Michigan law states that as soon as the Adoptee turns 18‚ that biological family members are allowed to legally seek out contact with the adopted family member. I wish to contact my nephew‚ who's name may have changed since the adoption. I just want to know he's okay‚ healthy‚ and happy. The last known information is that the adopted family lived in or near Battle Creek‚ Michigan. Michael was born in Kalamazoo‚ at I believe Borgess hospital‚ on September 9th‚ 2006. This would make him approximately 19 years old.
