I’m starting my search for my son after 52 years! He was born in Royal Oak Michigan at what was Beaumont Hospital in December of 1974. I was young and my parents and a lawyer I knew thought it would be better for my son to be adopted into a private adoption. No adoption agency involved. Just a court hearing with myself and my parents in a court to give up my parental rights. I don’t remember the lawyers name. He was the one that came to the hospital to take my son. I really do believe he was the one that adopted him. I have waited way too long to do this but I hope that maybe we could at least be in contact to relieve my life time wondering of what kind of a man he has become. And to further explain why he was adopted.
