My mother gave him up‚ because her husband saids‚ he is not mine and to get rid of it. So she put him up for adoption between 1945-1948‚ in Lansing‚ Ingham County‚ Mi. The name he had was Baby Boy Hofmeister or Baby Hofmeister or Robert Hofmeister. They have told me he was adopted out to someone in Detriot. I didn’t know about this‚ until in the last 2 or 3 years. Mom’s Husband side of family told me about him. He also had a sister who was given up‚ too. Her name was Karen Hofmeister‚ but I found her. She was adopted to a couple in Holt‚ Mi. She had passed away‚ but has daughter‚ and 2 sons. I don’t know if he is still alive or not. His father’s name is Harold Lewis Hofmeister‚ and his mom’s name is Florine Ruth Martin. I am hoping he is still alive‚ or to know where he was laid to rest.
