I am searching for my birth grandmother, or my father’s birth mother. She had at least 5-6 children and lived in Detroit, MI. My father and his brother were found alone in a building on fire in Detroit and then placed in foster care, due to their birth mother being mentally unfit to care for them. I do know the agency they went through for adoption was Lutheran Social Services but I am currently having some issues getting records. Any leads would be of great help! I’ll try to upload a picture of me and my father as well.
