I was given up for adoption in Feb of 1969‚ in Michigan. I was adopted through Catholic Social Services‚ and the social worker’s name was Amy Lolewitz. I was born in Henry Ford Hospital in Dearborn‚ on Feb 25‚ 1969. I had a bracelet on when I was given to my foster mother‚ who called me "Missy" I believe the name my birth mother gave to me was "Melissa"‚ and my bracelet had the name "Genevieve Burger" on it. I am seeking my birth mother‚ or birth father but I have limited information on them. My birth mother played the cello‚ and I think‚ the piano. She was of Polish/Dutch descent. My birth father was a well known artist from the Detroit area‚ and owned his own art studio. I have a Fine Art degree and played the piano for 22 years. I am hoping to find siblings as well. I have a sister (full or half sister) who was born the same year‚ 1969‚ in or after October. I believe she would have been born in Michigan‚ and may also be adopted.
