I’m searching for my daughter her birth name was Jeanel Ivy Wood she was born 3/27/2000 in Battle Creek michigan. She was adopted when she was 4-5 years old Her Birth mothers name is Heather Marie Jones. I have been searching for the past 18 years for any information leading to my daughters wear abouts I’m desperate to find her or find out any information about her and would love nothing more to be a part of her life. Her birth mother will not volunteer any information that she may have‚ she cut all contact with me many years ago after I asked her questions about any info she had on the adoption or her whereabouts or any info she could give me. Long story short she put her boyfriends at the times info on the birth certificate when my daughter was born which makes it impossible for me to get any records I wasn’t even aware that she was adopted until it was done n over with and I had no way to stop it or change anything. This has broke my heart everyday for the past 18 years and I think about her all the time. Jeanel has 5 siblings from me that would love to meet her one day she also has 2 other siblings from her birth mother that as well would love to meet her n get to know her. The only information I have been able to track down from the man on the birth certificate was they gave him no choice in the adoption process since he was not the biological father and all he could tell me was that she possibly was adopted by a family in Grand Rapids michigan and that her name was changed.
