I am trying to locate a cousin who was given up for adoption at birth. Her birth mother has passed and my Mother (BM’s sister) would like the chance to meet her niece. I know that my Aunt was 18 when she gave birth. She gave birth at the Sarah Fisher Home / Crittenton Hospital in Detroit. The adoption was handled through the Methodist Children’s Village. From what my mother can remember my Aunt chose not to see the baby after giving birth but my Grandfather did go to see the baby. He wanted my Aunt to bring her home, told her she was the most beautiful baby he had ever seen but my Aunt had made her decision already.
