My Great Grandmother was adopted and for genealogy purposes we are trying to find out her birth family. Her name was Helen and she was adopted by Jeremiah and Christina (Budreau) Lessard. We believe she was adopted along with her biological brother Lawrence. Family story also states that they were possibly adopted from a nearby Native American reservation. I am researching my adopted side as I feel they are just as much my family as blood is but I still would like to know the whole story.
