With our mom’s permission‚ my brother and I recently discovered that we have a 52-year-old sister named Karen Marie Near. Her birthday is September 18‚ 1972 (although we’re not entirely sure about the accuracy of the month and day). My mom was a foster child.. who gave birth to Karen when she was just 15 years old and living in an all-girls group home. The Allegan County Courts in the state of Michigan took Karen. I have a court document with the case number from November 27‚ 1972‚ but unfortunately‚ it’s a juvenile case and doesn’t show up online. We have no idea if Karen was adopted and her name was changed. The people who would have this information‚ moms parents Gaylord and Betty (Rose) Near‚ as well as her Grandma Irma Near‚ have all passed away. My mom name is Christine Near. We told my Mom that we will do everything in our power to find her because of moms health and she’s on hospice. We would love to find her.
