I recently found out that I was adopted. My adoptive Mother (and Father, who passed away in 1992) NEVER wanted me to know I was adopted. My Mom recently passed away and other family members informed me I was adopted. I don’t have much information. I believe I was born in Michigan (or at least adopted there?) in May, 1971. I have not seen my live birth certificate and its my understanding adoptive parents in Michigan during that time had the option of choosing the adoption date (as the baby’s birthday) or the actual day the baby was born. Distinct features: I have strawberry blond/red hair, hazel/ brown almond eyes and pale skin.
