I am searching for our foster daughter, Amanda Marie Volmer. She was with us for 14 months in foster care and we were told we could adopt her but at the last minute a family member was found and she was taken away from us. I have saved a box of photos and baby items to give to her so that she will not have a gap in her baby years. We lived in Flushing Michigan and the state adoption office was in Flint Michigan. Amanda had three siblings that we cared for at the beginning and then the three siblings were placed elsewhere because we had four children of our own and were not able to keep all four foster children. I would love to be able to give this box to Amanda and if she is interested we would also like to reconnect. We all loved Amanda very much. I’m sorry it says at the top that I am looking for my adopted child, there was no choice to put in that I was looking for my foster daughter.
