I was born 10/23/1967 at Salvation Army Wm. Booth Memorial Hospital in Detroit Michigan. My birth mother was born 1938 and worked as a teletype operator for Western Union. She was of Yugoslavian descent she lived with her parents and had one sister. My birth father was born in 1936 and was a firefighter up until he died July 1967 in a car accident. He had 2 brothers and a sister who knew nothing of me. My birth mother had 1 sister her and her mother knew about the pregnancy. On 9/1/1967 she went to stay at the Booth Maternity Home until I was born. On 11/2/1967 she appeared in court to release her parental rights. I was adopted through the Lutheran Child & Family Service of Michigan agency in Bay City Michigan. Adoption I believe was finalized through the court in Huron County Michigan.
