My grandfather’s father (Hubert Grant Paxton) was orphaned along with 3 other siblings sometimes after 1890 (his birth year). They went to the State School in Michigan, I believe. They were all adopted out to separate families, with Hubert going to Thomas Quigley. I’m trying to find his birth parents for genealogy purposes.
