My children are looking for their 1/2 sibling (their dad’s child). We believe that this boy child was born in 1981-1982 as this boy child when turning 18 wanted to find his dad, Edward J. Sumner (now deceased). We believe that his mother worked with Edward at a printing company in Petoskey, Michigan. We have heard that the child’s name is Charlie or Charles. I remember that the paperwork from Catholic Social Services had come to my home and was given to Edward (we were married at the time and he had never told me of this other child), he had told me that he had another child with one of his coworkers . My oldest child was born in 1983 and he at the time that the paperwork had come was 16 or 17 (the boy child was 18 at the time of the Catholic Social Services letter and he stated that he wanted to know his dad, Edward J. Sumner). Any information out there? I would like to know this young person...and I know both of my children would love to know their half brother.
