I am searching for my birth family - mother, father, siblings, or any relations. I was born on August 22, 1959 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The information I have is that my mother was 16 and that I am French Bohemian and Polish. I was adopted through the Catholic Social Services and the adoption was finalized in October 1960. My adoptive parents moved to Wisconsin when I was two. I have brown hair and brown eyes - but was a tow head (white blonde) as a small child. I was also told that my name prior to adoption was Artheretta Mae P. - whether this name was given by foster care or my mother is unknown to me, but sounds like a feminine form of Arthur. I am 53 and both my adoptive parents and adoptive sibling are deceased. My adoptive mother had 2 birthdays for me every year and told me everything she knew and was very grateful to my birth mother for letting her have me.
