Our family is trying to locate any relatives of our father-grandfather. He passed away in 2018 and he did not have a lot of knowledge of his adoption or birth parents. The information we have obtained so far is that He was born on Feb, 08 1936 in Grand Rapids Michigan. The hospital was Bronson . Adoption took place in Muskegon michigan. Mother was very young and was sent to be with aunt- unsure of accuracy of this info. Mother was either born petterson and married a patterson later . or was a patterson and married a petterson. Unsure of spellings. He was adopted by Reverend Garrett and Delia Rozeboom. He resided in Muskegon, Minnesota, Iowa, and Holland michigan. Adopted Father started Ottawa Reformed church in west olive. Mother’s brother somehow found him and sent him a letter from his mother requesting no contact with family till after her death. stating that her new family had no knowledge of him. This was many years ago. Thank you for any information you can give us.
