To whom it may concern, I only have non-identifying information. I was born in Kalamazoo, MI on June 15, 1967. According to the information I have my birth mother was 20 years old when she gave birth to me. My father was 28 years old. My mother’s sister was 22 yrs old at the time of my birth who was noted for being a school teacher. My birth mother was nurses assistant. There was not a lot of information about my birth father except that he dropped out of high school in the 10th grade My mother is Caucasian and my dad is black. I recently received my DNA results. I have 8 ethnicities of which span North and West Europe as well as South Europe (Irish, Scottish, Welsh, Scandinavian, Finnish & Iberian). My African roots include Nigerian, West African & Kenyan. Very little West Asia but it is noted. I was adopted at 6 months old by David and Georgia Banks (Kizer, Bates). I am a mother of 7 children and 4 grandchildren. My family and I would like to know about our heritage. It would be nice after 51 years of life to close this chapter of my life with answers and have a peace of mind finally. Thank you.
