I was left in the turning cradle at hospicio de San Jose in August of 1975 around August 17 (my documented birth date) in Manilla‚ Philippines. I was adopted through the now defunct International Alliance of Children under Sister Theresa Mabasa. I have a birth certificate that states I was listed as a "foundling" and thus adopted in Connecticut upon my arrival to the states in 1976. My birth mother left me in the cradle with the nuns so there was no documentation at that time. I believe I am full Filipina. I would like to know if there are any birth records to find my birth mothers long shot but worth it.
