My mother gave birth to a daughter at a Liverpool Home for unmarried mothers. I know the child was registered as Michelle Thompson at birth but i am sure her name would have been changed. he family who adopted her my mother was told was very wealthy. My mother was not allowed to meet them as the Husband was well known and traveled a lot with work and they felt that it could be a possibility that my mother would be able to make future contact with the adoptive parents as a result.
