My mom put her daughter for adoption several years before I was born (I was born 1990) - I think it could have been up to ten years before me. I believe she was put up for adoption shortly after being born. I vaguely remember when I was little (we were living in Somerville, MA) we received a letter from her and it even had a picture of her. My family has not been able to find that letter unfortunately. My mom is Vietnamese, so I would expect my half sister to also be half Vietnamese like me! (I think the biological father of my half sister was white, although I do not know for sure). I would love to somehow find this half sister of mine!
