I am searching for my maternal grandparents. I was born in Boston on February 13, 1974. My birth name was Lorie Anne. I do not know my last name or any last names of my family. I do know my parents names were Cindy and Robert and they were both 17-18 when I was born. I know my mother had me in a maternity home but took me home from the hospital with her. I was placed in foster care for about a month and then brought back home until I was given up for adoption. From what I understand my mother tried hard to make it work to keep me. I know she struggled and my father wasn’t involved at all. My grandfather wanted to adopt me but she didn’t want him to because she didn’t get along very well with her step-mother. I know my mother had a younger sister. If I could find her ( my aunt ) that would be amazing also. I’m assuming I have siblings out there somewhere. I so long to find someone that looks like me.
