My brother was born in January of 1968 (I’m almost positive it was 68 but could have been 67‚66 or 65) He was adopted at infancy‚ I believe in February. Our birth parents were young & unmarried at that time & they were "pressured" into adoption. The name of the adoption agency was Family & Children’s Service. I believe your adoption took place in the Lynn‚ Massachusetts office. They are still open but‚ no longer do adoptions I contacted them years ago & told me you wrote a letter to our birth- mother‚ but‚ would give me no other information without written consent from her. (Which wasn’t given). As a side note‚ I can honestly say it was for the best. They were married in 1970 after the birth of 2nd child. A girl named Susan borm 2/1970. Then 18 months later had their 3rd & last child (me) on 6/21/1972. Eventually we were all put up for adoption. My brother’s name at birth was David Henry Holmes Jr. Our bio-father’s namesake.
