I am trying to find my half-sister who was given up for adoption before my mother met and married my father. My mother was an immigrant from Scotland in the late 1950s. Before she married my father she gave birth to a daughter. She was 19 or 20 at the time. I believe she was living in or near New Bedford‚ MA. I have a DNA match for a half-sister on Ancestry.com.
