In 1986, my then girlfriend and I (we were teenagers) placed a newborn baby boy (whom we called Marty) for adoption at a hospital in Boston through Catholic Charities. We lived in NH but the baby was born in Boston (Boston Mass?) and was placed with adoptive parents directly from the hospital.
