My Mother’s maiden name was Suzanne Jane Sotland. She was born and raised on Long Island. She was forced to give up a son. She was sent to Boston to finish her pregnancy and deliver a baby boy. The agency that was used was Jewish Family & Children’s Services. The biological father who was in a war, was a doctor. The baby boy was born healthy (out of state - in Boston) and put up for adoption. This boy, who would be my biological brother was born in May of 1968. Naturally, the adoption was closed but I sure hope this brother is looking for his biological parents, he would not know I exist as I was born in 1974. I have done my DNA on Ancestory.com. I would love to find this brother.
