I am a 57 year old woman who has recently found out that I was adopted. I was born in the Boston area on January 17 1962. I was raised outside of Boston by Madeline and Mike DePalma. I was born with some extensive physical challenges and subsequently spent an extended period of time in the hospital. I believe it was a private/closed adoption. I do not have any personal details about my birth parents, except I think my birth mother was unmarried.
