My son was born Kayleb S. Willow Ryan on October 18, 1996 but his records from what I have been told indicate Oct. 17, 1996. He was taken away from me in 2000-2001 by Talbot Country Social Services (will explain to involved parties if match is found). He was taken away and placed in Mentor Foster care with his brother Gabrielle (Gabriel) Patrick Ryan who was born August 8, 1998. Both children we born in Easton Memorial Hospital now known as Maryland University Hospital of Easton and Shore Medical Center. Kayleb was born with a genetic disorder what we refer to as PMD, Pelizaeus-Merzbacher. Family that I last knew they were with was Carol A. Merritt that lived in Mardela Springs, Md. at the time they had custody. The last information as to there whereabouts was Cecil County, but not sure which state side. The boys also have 2 older brothers and a younger sister in Maryland. I have located and have had contact with their sister Cheyenne, and I live with their oldest brother. Their second brother is Mihkel Yeaman-Lane who has been raised and cared for by their Great Aunt in Centreville, Md. To my understanding they have gone to AI DuPont for Kayleb’s treatment which is also the same place Zedrick (oldest brother) goes for his treatment. I understand that Kayleb may not be able to decide for himself as to my contact, but I would at least like to know how he is doing, and maybe at least be know to him as a "friend of the family" for purposes so he is not upset by the situation as I am a stranger to him and I know the disorder may make it more difficult. All I want is to meet him, if a relationship with my son is not possible. I love both of them, that has never changed. The picture included here, is on my last visit with him. There is suppose to be a memory book that was provided for all of the kids.
