Hi‚ my name is Lorna Monahan (Mitchell). I had a brother that was sent to Maryland from California where we were living at the time. My brother was sent here to live with his father in approximately 1982-83’. I have another brother name Kevin Mitchell. We all lived together in Maryland and California. His father said that he was adopted from a doctor at John’s Hopkins in Maryland. It was also threatened that if we tried to make contact everything would be changed. I have been in search of my brother ever since contact stopped. I am now back in Maryland and living here and have made many attempts to find out his where abouts. We miss you Jason and would love the opportunity to rekindle and get to know you again. Jason was born in Havre De Grace MD to parents Carole Jean Mitchell (now Carole J. Moulsdale) and father Rickie A. Mitchell. He was born on October 25‚1974. We lived in Aberdeen Maryland for some years. My brother Kevin and I were also adopted by Rickie A Mitchell and we became Mitchell’s as well. We moved to California and Jason was in some trouble so our Mother (Carole) sent him back to Maryland to live with his father Rickie (also goes by Rick‚Rickey or Ricky) we had contact for about a year. Jason sent letters‚ pictures and he called. Then all of a sudden contact was stopped Rickie changed phone numbers and we lost contact completely. I came back to Maryland in 84’. I made contact with Rickie and his wife Penny that also had 2 children together. Their names were Michael P. Mitchell and Maleana S. Mitchell (Rager). I have made several attempts to find Jason. All these years go by and we just want to know if he is alive and safe. Of course the scary part is that he may not be with us here on this earth. My brother Kevin and I are reaching our 60’s and have really been desperate to get some leads. We need answers and we deeply miss our brother that has went missing in the process. He would be in his 50’s today and we wonder what his life may be like‚ if he has children of his own. Just wondering if there is any possibility that our brother is out there and wondering the same about us.
