Looking for my sister born in Brandon MB between April and September 1982. Name at birth was Lanette (not sure of spelling). Adoption was done through Child and Family Services‚ there should have been a box of belongings that went with the baby. Included in that box should have been a silver or gold necklace with a small ring on it‚ as well as a wishbone looking figure with a small pearl at the bottom. Father’s last name is Davis‚ mother’s was Hurd at the time. Unfortunately all records of the adoption were burnt. Possibly went to live with a family with the last name Davis in south western Manitoba.
