We are assuming he (our father) was born out of wedlock by unknown young parents. He was listed as a foundling at Winnipeg hospital with no record kept of biological parents. Ancestry.ca DNA tie us to Brandon’s Stady and Telford family trees (Brandon area farmers). He was adopted by my mothers aunt and uncle Fort Frances area farmers) (who fostered over100 kids over the years). The only reason we can think of why they would adopt this one out of many was that he was family already?? We have exhausted our record search and hoping a family story perhaps mentions this baby boy given up for adoption. Can you help us?
