I am searching for my birth brother who was put up for adoption in spring of 1979. He was born in Winnipeg. He was placed in a home in the fall of that same year and adopted in 1980 with a name change. Our mother was not a resident of Manitoba but was in Winnipeg when my brother was born and she placed him for adoption there. The birth family actually lived in Alberta at the time of my brothers birth but relocated to Nova Scotia shortly after. Both birth parents are also US citizens with landed immigrant status. Birth mother-Maine and Birth father-New Hampshire Edit: Birth mother has passed away July 2025
