Hi friends! (Seeking help here) ☺️ I know this is a long shot‚ but it’s been super heavy on my mind lately‚ and me and sister would like to find my birth mother or siblings. Growing up‚ I always had questions‚ many of which my mom had answered‚ but as I’ve gotten older‚ I have more and more curiosity and questions. Let’s start with what we know. My name is Alexis (this name was not changed when I was adopted) and one of our middle names was Katie-Michelle I believe. We were born in Shreveport Louisiana (LSU) on September 20th‚ 2000 and I have a fraternal twin named Lydia (also not changed after the adoption). We don’t look alike. We were adopted TOGETHER. Our moms name was Misty. Our dads name was Micheal I believe‚ I have heard he was arrested not long after our adoption process began in Louisiana. Our last name was Hill originally before being adopted. We weren’t officially adopted until the age of 4. We have other siblings‚ three older (2 sisters and a brother) and I believe our birth mom was pregnant around the time of us being adopted. I believe our older brother was also adopted to a family out in Texas. We were adopted into Arkansas. The last few weeks‚ this has been heavy on my heart‚ and being 23 now‚ I would like to have some closure and answers I have been longing for a long time. While I LOVE my family more than anything‚ and am so thankful for the life they have provided me‚ and the love and support‚ I just feel this is something I want to do as I can’t afford DNA kits and testing right now
